Hi, I’m Chloé, founder of Les Éphémères.
Twelve years ago, after working in graphic design in London, I made a wholehearted shift toward floral design. What started as a creative instinct quickly became my life's work. I’ve always been drawn to the rhythm of the seasons, to the quiet poetry of flowers, and to the idea that beauty can be both expressive and responsible.
Our studio is based in the Loire Valley, where many of the flowers we use are grown in our own garden. Some are even planted months in advance for specific weddings. I design every floral story with intention, using seasonal blooms, reusable mechanics, and an approach that celebrates nature rather than exploiting it.
Whether you’re a couple planning your destination wedding in France or a wedding planner managing a complex event, I believe in building relationships based on trust, clarity, and care.

Hugo joined Les Éphémères not just as a partner, but as the heart behind our garden. He’s a trained landscape gardener with a deep respect for ecosystems, soil, and the invisible work that makes flowers thrive.
He designed our garden as a living, breathing space, one where every plant has its place, and where we grow varieties that are unusual, seasonal, and well-suited to our design style. His role is essential: he oversees all our production, coordinates logistics during busy wedding weekends, and ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
What I love most about working with Hugo is that we share the same vision: to create floral designs that honour the earth, respect the seasons, and speak to the soul.

We take on a limited number of weddings each season to ensure each project receives our full attention: creatively, logistically, and emotionally. This allows us to stay deeply present throughout your journey, carefully crafting every detail with intention and care.
Sustainable by Design
We use seasonal flowers, sourced locally or grown in our own garden, and work exclusively with foam-free, reusable mechanics. After every event, leftover blooms are composted, supporting a full-circle floral philosophy rooted in care for the land.
